Huawei has announced the release of the MediaPad M6 Turbo Edition tablet based on the flagship Kirin 980 processor. The gadget has received a “desktop-level” liquid cooling system, stereo speakers with Dolby Vision technology and a Turbo button for quick activation of the game mode.
The tablet is equipped with an 8.4-inch IPS-display with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels. Under the "hood" of the gadget is a mobile platform Kirin 980 with a graphics processor Mali-G76 with support for 6 GB of RAM. There is a built-in 128 GB drive for storing files and applications.
The proprietary liquid cooling system is responsible for the removal of heat from the productive hardware - the length of the cooling tube is 120 mm. According to the manufacturer, its effectiveness is comparable with solutions for personal computers.
To quickly turn on the game mode, a dedicated Turbo button is located on the device’s case, when pressed, GPU Turbo 3.0 technology optimizes background processes and frees up memory, allocating more resources to the running game.
The capacity of the built-in battery of the new product is 6100 mAh, the declared battery life of the tablet is up to 12.5 hours in video playback mode. A full charge of the device will take just over two hours. The operating system uses Android 9.0 Pie with the EMUI 9.1 shell.
The resolution of the main camera located on the back cover is 13 megapixels, the selfie module - 8 megapixels. The tablet will be delivered in two versions: one model will receive 4G LTE support, while the other will have Internet access only via Wi-Fi.
