Huami has introduced a new model of a smart-watch called Amazfit X. The main features of the device, which the manufacturer positions as a "watch from the future", are a curved case with water protection, an informative display and a decent set of functions, including monitoring the level of oxygen in the blood.
The gadget received a curved color AMOLED display with a diagonal of 2.07 inches with a resolution of 640x206 pixels and a maximum brightness of 400 nits. To "pack" the motherboard in an unusual shape, the manufacturer divided it into three separate sections. The Amazfit X screen simultaneously displays several indicators - time, heart rate, number of steps taken, and battery power. More than 40 different widgets are also available for the user to choose from.
The smartwatch is equipped with a sensor for measuring the level of oxygen in the blood and a sensor for monitoring blood flow. The firmware of the new product provides 9 sports modes, sleep quality monitoring, and a function for tracking stress levels. The model's list of wireless interfaces includes Bluetooth 5.0 LE, GPS, and GLONASS. The device is not afraid of water ingress and remains functional even when submerged to a depth of 50 meters.
The curved battery of the gadget with a capacity of 205 mAh provides, according to the manufacturer, up to 7 days of battery life on a single charge with moderate use. Dimensions of the model are 22.6 x 13.6 mm, weight-39 grams.
The Amazfit X smartwatch in black and white cases is already available for pre-order on the crowdfunding platform Indiegogo for $329. The start of sales of the new product is scheduled for August 2020.
