  • Huami Amazfit X: "watches of the future" with a flexible display


    Along with the Sports Watch 3 model, Huami has announced another new product in the Amazfit wearable electronics line. The concept gadget called Amazfit X, which the manufacturer called "watches from the future", received a curved flexible screen and an original design.

    At the presentation, a working prototype was presented, the 2.07-inch flexible screen of which is made according to the complex technology of three-dimensional deformation at a glass heating temperature of up to 700 degrees Celsius. According to the developers, the visible display area of the new items is 244% more than that of fitness bracelets of comparable size. In addition to a high pixel density (326 PPI), the device matrix boasts 100% NTSC color gamut saturation and high brightness up to 430 nits.

    Inside the case, there is a curved battery with a capacity of 220 mAh, one charge of which, according to the vendor, will last for 7 days of battery life. The motherboard is three separate elements - this design allows you to bend the smartwatch without fear of damage.

    Huami Amazfit X is made in a metal case, and instead of traditional protruding buttons, the manufacturer used hidden touch buttons. The “watches from the future” will go on sale in the second half of 2020, the price of the new item will be announced later.
