
Ferrari company presented the flagship supercar SF90 Stradale, created for the 90th anniversary of the racing team Scuderia Ferrari. This is the first plug-in hybrid in the history of the manufacturer — and the most powerful in the line. The car is designed for General purpose roads and is able to accelerate to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds.
Ferrari SF90 Stradale became the first flagship of the company in the last 30 years, under the hood of which not twelve, but only eight cylinders. Used in it Biturbo motor with the 90-degree collapse of the unit, increased to 88 mm cylinder diameter and a displacement of 4 liters is an improved version used in many models of the f154 engine. The new product is capable of developing 780 horsepower and 800 Nm. Paired with three 220 HP electric motors, the total power of the supercar is 1000 horsepower.
Up to 200 km/h the new SF90 Stradale accelerates in 6.7 seconds, and its maximum speed is 340 km/h. From the built-in battery with a capacity of 7.9 kW/h, the supercar is able to travel without using fuel about 25 kilometers.
Also for SF90 Stradale was developed a completely new 8-speed transmission with double clutch. It has become 10 kg lighter than the previous version, the reverse is implemented only in eDrive mode through the use of two front electric motors. Due to this, the transfer switching takes only 200 milliseconds instead of the previous 300 MS.
Inside the cabin, there is a huge curved display that allows you to control the car: it is able to display important information, navigation, and multimedia options. The steering wheel is equipped with a set of physical and capacitive touch buttons to control the functions of the machine.
