The BMW i4 will be based on the new fifth-generation BMW eDrive transmission. The power of the sedan should be 390 kW or 530 horsepower, which will provide acceleration from 0 to 100 kilometers in 4 seconds at a maximum speed of 200 kilometers per hour. An 80 kWh battery will be located under the passenger seats. Its enough for 600 kilometers.
BMW will introduce a modular design of the built-in battery, which will receive powerful charging up to 150 kW. This means that from 0 to 80 percent, the i4 will charge in 35 minutes. As for the body, i4 will be made in the design of the Gran Coupe.
