Ulefone has announced a new product in the line of secure smartphones. Armor 3W will be one of the most advanced "armored" gadgets in the mobile market. The device received a modern eight-core processor, 6 GB of RAM and a long-playing battery of 10300 mAh. The manufacturer demonstrated the capabilities of the device in the video.
The key difference between Ulefone Armor 3W and last year's Armor 3 is increased productivity. The smartphone is based on the current eight-core MediaTek Helio P70 processor and is equipped with 6 GB of RAM - this hardware is enough even for demanding applications, mobile games, and multitasking. There is a new product running Android 9.0 Pie.
The device with a 5.7-inch display received an “armored” case that meets IP68/69K and MIL-STD-810G protection standards. It is not afraid of dust, water (even when diving to a depth of 2 meters), drops on concrete from a height of up to 120 cm and temperature drops of -20 to +60 degrees Celsius.
An important feature of the smartphone is a capacious 10,300 mAh battery with support for 18 W fast charging. According to the manufacturer, from a single charge Armor 3W will last up to 4 days with moderate use, or up to 66 hours of talk time. The reverse charging function is also supported - the gadget can be used as a power bank for other gadgets.
The camera with a 21 megapixel Sony sensor is responsible for the shooting, the front camera with an 8-megapixel sensor resolution supports the face unlock function. There is also NFC for contactless payments via Google Pay and a fingerprint scanner to confirm payment and quick unlock.
A modification of the smartphone called Armor 3WT when connecting an external antenna works like a walkie-talkie in the frequency range 400-470 MHz. The range in urban areas is from 3 to 5 kilometers, in the country in direct visibility - up to 10 kilometers.
In the near future, smartphones will be available for pre-order. More details about future updates can be found on the manufacturer's website.
