While Redmi only promises to release a smartphone with a 64-megapixel camera, Realme has already shown a similar device to journalists. As part of the press conference in India, three new smartphones with quad cameras were announced, one of which has a sensor of the highest resolution.
Note that the official presentation of the smartphones did not take place during the event. The manufacturer only showed them to journalists in protective covers that do not allow to see the appearance of the devices. However, it was announced that it will be Realme 5, Realme 5 Pro and heir to Realme X. All three devices will have a common feature — the main camera with four sensors.
Representatives of Realme said that the heir to Realme X will be used 64-megapixel sensor ISOCELL Bright GW1 from Samsung. Earlier, the company published photos taken on this smartphone. Note that the same module will receive the upcoming device from Redmi.
Future Realme quad-camera smartphones
Regarding the purpose of the four cameras in the upcoming updates Realme said that they will support shooting with ultra-wide-angle, double optical zoom, macro, and expert mode. The latter allows you to shoot with manual settings.
The exact timing of the release of new smartphones, the manufacturer said nothing. We only know that the heir to Realme X with a 64-megapixel camera will be released before the celebration of Diwali in India — until October 27.
