During a recent presentation of the ColorOS 7 shell, OPPO announced the release of the new Reno3 smartphone. It seems that it will be shown very soon since the device has been certified in China. Along with this, its images and technical specifications appeared.
As you can see in the pictures, the smartphone has a teardrop-shaped cutout for the front camera. This seems to be a very strange solution since the predecessors had a pop-up camera in the shape of a fin. It is possible that this is one of the sub-versions of Reno3, as was the case with Reno2. The fingerprint scanner is nowhere to be seen, so it can be embedded in the screen. Behind in the corner is the main camera, represented by four modules.
The device description says that Oppo Reno3 is equipped with a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD + resolution, an eight-core processor (presumably the new Snapdragon 765 with 5G support), 8 GB of RAM, a 3935 mAh battery and the main camera with a resolution of 48 MP.
The Reno3 presentation date has not yet been announced, but OPPO recently published a teaser for the frameless Reno3 Pro 5G, which further indicates an upcoming announcement.
