Google has announced the creation of a new feature for the mobile version of the proprietary browser Chrome, allowing almost instantly load pages and save traffic. To do this, the search giant has developed a special technology of full caching.
With full caching of previously open pages open instantly without downloading. The video below shows the difference between working with this function and without it:
According to Google, 19% of sites viewed on mobile devices have already been opened. On personal computers, this figure is about 10%. Thus, frequently visited pages will load instantly without consuming additional traffic.
According to Chrome developers, during 2019 they plan to test the bfcache function, and it will be built into the browser only in 2020.
