Samsung not only decided to modify the structure of its folding smartphone before the selling but Huawei. Recently, photos of Huawei's CEO for consumer business Richard Yu, who uses flexible Mate X in public, were scattered across the network, but not everyone noticed important details. Its version of the smartphone has a number of differences from what the company presented at MWC 2019.

A close look at the new photos of Huawei Mate X reveals several obvious differences from the prototype shown at the beginning of the year. First, in the updated version, the fourth camera is clearly visible, as stated in the device description. It is believed that this ToF-sensor, which in the earlier version of the smartphone was not at all, or it completely merged with the body. The second noticeable change was an enlarged button with a red insert for disconnecting the two halves of the smartphone.
It can also be noted that the side “handle”, where the cameras are located, and the central part in the place of bending in the new version are covered with a textured composite material similar to carbon fiber. Given the high price of the device, it can actually be carbon fiber.
There are no navigation keys on the screen anywhere, so the smartphone will probably be controlled by gestures. In addition, the display is not visible folds in the center, which was clearly visible at the beginning of the year. Perhaps Huawei finalized this moment.
According to the latest data, the official release of Mate X is scheduled for September of this year.
