Even before the announcement of the HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro, the appearance of the flagship was repeatedly confirmed by manufacturers of covers, but the full technical characteristics of the gadget remained unknown. The new leak completely revealed the specifications of the future product - at the same time, real photos of the device’s display appeared on the network.
An insider with the nickname RODENT950 published on Twitter a detailed list of smartphone specifications. If you believe the leak, the flagship will receive the latest Kirin 990 chipset with support for fifth-generation networks. Under the “hood” of the processor are eight cores: two Cortex-A76 clocked at 2.89 GHz, two Cortex-A76 (2.36 GHz) and four Cortex-A55, operating at a frequency of 1.95 GHz. For the SoC graphics capabilities, the Mali-G76 MP 16 video accelerator is responsible. Separately, the source notes the updated neural processor (NPU) based on the Da Vinci architecture.
In the top-end configuration, the smartphone will receive 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal memory. Additionally, the possibility of expanding the drive using proprietary memory cards is implemented.
According to available information, the Mate 30 Pro will receive a display with a diagonal of 6.6 'to 6.8' inches with a resolution of 2400x1746 pixels. Judging by the new picture that appeared on the Chinese social network Weibo, the new product will receive an impressive “fringe” for placing a 32-megapixel selfie camera, auxiliary sensors and a speaker.
The main camera of the smartphone will be represented by three sensors: 40-megapixel Sony IMX600 (f/1.6), focal length 23 mm and optical stabilization, 40 megapixel sensor with wide-angle lens, focal length 18 mm and aperture f/1.55, as well as a sensor with resolution 8 megapixel (f/2.4), equipped with a telephoto lens with triple optical zoom. The ToF module for creating portrait shots with a realistic bokeh effect will also fit on the back of the case.
Mate 30 Pro will receive a battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh and two charging technologies at once: fast wired (40 W), and 27-watt wireless. To unlock the device, Huawei Face ID 2.0 face recognition technology and a fingerprint scanner built into the display will be used.
The presentation of the HUAWEI Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro will take place on September 19.
