This is despite the fact that the brand occupies a leading position in 42 countries.
During a special conference held in Japan, one of Xiaomi representatives provided an up-to-date rating on the number of devices sold among smartphone manufacturers. Given that the Chinese company operates in 90 countries, while Xiaomi products are among the best-selling in 42 countries, the brand managed to gain a foothold in the fourth line of the global ranking, outperforming its competitor OPPO.
On the first line is the unchanged leader in the number of smartphones sold - South Korean Samsung with 78.2 million copies. The second place is occupied by HUAWEI, which managed to sell 66.6 million gadgets for the third quarter of 2019. Closes the top three Apple with a sales figure of 46.6 million units. Xiaomi has managed to sell 32.7 million smartphones over the past four months, capturing 9.1% of the market.
