Xiaomi does not only produce electronics and household appliances - the next product of the company is the Qicycle Electric Power-Assisted bicycle with an electric motor. The model features an ergonomic design without protruding wires and an impressive power reserve on a single battery charge.
Externally, the bike looks like a folding model Qicycle EF1. This is a second-generation version that has received an upgrade of both design and features. 20-inch wheels make it more stable and adapted for difficult roads. At the same time, the model looks like a regular bicycle, and the battery is hidden in the frame. The frame is made of aviation aluminum alloy. In addition to the battery, all cables are hidden in it. The height of the seat can be adjusted to fit your height.
In the center of the steering wheel, there is a photosensitive display that changes brightness depending on the light. It shows information about the used transmission, speed, battery charge, and other data. On the left side of the steering wheel is the control panel, which includes the power, sound and shift buttons. On the right is the mode switch: full mechanics, assistance with pedaling and a fully electric stroke.
The battery capacity of 5.2 Ah, according to the manufacturer, is enough for a 40 km trip without pedals, a full charge will take 3.5 hours. A bicycle can reach speeds of up to 25 km / h, the braking distance when this mark is reached is about 3 meters.
Qicycle Electric Power-Assisted is already available for pre-order on the Xiaomi Youpin crowdfunding site for $425.
