Following the first rumors about the processor model of the future flagship Samsung, the network has more accurate information about the processor model, which will receive the upcoming Galaxy S11. A new leak revealed the CPU model, on the basis of which an unannounced gadget will be built.
According to an insider publication, the new Exynos 990 chipset on which the new smartphone will be built is the renamed Exynos 9830. This manufacturer directly indicated in the specifications of the model. SoC received a processor based on two proprietary cores, two ARM Cortex A-76 and four Cortex A-55 with support for the Mali-G77 graphics adapter.
The chipset is made by a 7-nm process using photolithography in deep ultraviolet (EUV). It is noteworthy that this mobile platform is not equipped with a built-in 5G-modem. Presumably, the gadget will debut in the C LTE and 5G versions - in the latter case, you will need to install a separate chip to support fifth-generation networks. No announcement date and detailed specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S11 have been announced.
