Samsung has taken a course to reduce the frames in smartphones in recent years. To achieve complete illiteracy one stumbling block is the front camera. Now it is installed in the cutouts or placed on the sliding mechanisms. As it turned out, the engineers of the South Korean Corporation are working on a completely new variant of placing the front.
In the news of the Chinese portal MyDrivers says that Samsung has confirmed the work on the technology that allowed to place the camera directly under the display. This will make it possible to create a frameless smartphone without any cutouts, holes and sliding mechanisms.
Earlier it was reported that Samsung only studied the possibility of placing the camera under the screen, but now the Corporation has seriously taken up the development of this technology. How it will be implemented is not yet clear. According to one of the options, when you start the camera application, the screen area above the front camera can become transparent, allowing you to take a picture, and the rest of the time this element will not be visible.
