At the end of October, OPPO introduced the final version of the ColorOS 7 custom shell, which will soon be available to many of the company's devices, as well as the realme brand. An optimized system, a number of innovations and unique functions - all this is only part of the ColorOS changes. Thanks to insiders, it became possible to see what the new shell will be like.
Visually, the system is much like the current version of the shell, but now users have the opportunity to flexibly customize the ColorOS interface to their preferences. In addition to setting a dark color scheme and settings for Always-on displays, it is possible to control the size of icons and text throughout the shell.
ColorOS 7 has become even more like a "clean" version of stock Android. A distinctive feature of the interface is a wide notification center with a number of icons for quick access to key settings.
According to the developers of OPPO, ColorOS 7 minimizes the burden on the user's eyes, includes a number of new wallpapers and sound effects. Compared to the previous version of the shell, the Seven launches applications faster and has become much more energy-efficient. The company previously published a list of devices that will be updated in the near future. By the end of the second quarter of 2020, most OPPO smartphones will receive the long-awaited update.
