Soon after the announcement of smartphones OPPO Reno3 and Reno3 Pro became known and the first results of testing the performance of new products in the popular benchmark AnTuTu. Despite the absence of the Pro prefix, the basic version of the smartphone, which received the MediaTek processor, confidently outperformed its "older brother" with the latest Snapdragon.
According to the test results, the winner was the base model OPPO Reno3 based on the MediaTek mobile platform with a score of 337 669 points versus 320 822 points in the Pro version, which received the Snapdragon processor. At the same time, the younger version of the gadget pulled ahead when testing both the CPU and the GPU (126 692/102 230 and 99 250/93 977 "parrots, respectively"). It is noteworthy that the MediaTek chip was even less heated - its maximum temperature was 1 degree lower than that of the opponent.
Earlier, both new products were highlighted in the Master Lu benchmark, where the Snapdragon model pulled ahead with a slight margin (307,855 versus 305,667 points). It is worth noting that the algorithms of such applications differ from the daily operating mode of the smartphone - the actual performance when launching games and other resource-intensive applications can differ significantly from “synthetic” ones.
