For more than a year now, owners of OnePlus smartphones have had a dark interface design theme. But it could not be called ideal: in many places, the shell was rather gray, and not really black. Now the manufacturer has begun to correct this omission.
Until now, when activating a dark theme, users of OnePlus smartphones could observe a dark gray background in the quick settings menu, the notification center and in many other places, rather than really black, which looks better on AMOLED screens. With the upgrade of the OxygenOS proprietary shell to version 10.0.6, some owners of 7T and 6T noticed an innovation - once the gray elements turned completely black.
Interestingly, on OnePlus 7, 7 Pro, 7T Pro and OnePlus 6, this innovation is not yet available, despite using the same version of OxygenOS. It is assumed that this change is activated on the server-side and the company is currently testing the redesign on a small number of devices to collect feedback.
Recall that OnePlus promises to upgrade the Android smartphones OnePlus 5 and 5T to version 10 of OxygenOS 10 and version 10, but this will happen only in 2020. But for OnePlus 3 and 3T, the final update from the manufacturer has recently been released.
