The history of the LG Neon line of phones began more than 10 years ago, but gradually push-button “dialers” gave way to more advanced gadgets. Now, according to insiders, the company plans to restart a series of available devices that will receive touch displays and Android OS. The first image of an unannounced device has already appeared on the network, also hinting at the date of its release.
According to network informants, the new product called LG Neon Plus will be made in the form factor of the classic monoblock and will receive a dedicated button to call the voice assistant Google Assistant on the side of the case. The list of interface ports of the device includes micro-USB and 3.5 mm audio jack, and the resolution of the front and main cameras will be 5 and 8 megapixels, respectively.
Judging by the date set on the screen of the gadget, its announcement will take place on August 1, 2020, but, according to rumors, the company will reveal the technical characteristics of the device earlier, at the upcoming consumer electronics show CES 2020. The possible price of new items is not reported.
