Users around the world report problems accessing Google services. According to the Downdetector service, on the night of 4 to 5 July, residents of Russia, the United States and several European countries encountered interruptions in the work of the largest search engine.
The failure primarily affected the functions of Google Accounts - 52% of users reported problems with logging. Another 47% complained about the inaccessibility or incorrect work of the search.
"All Google services are disabled, links do not work, I cannot log in to your account and access Google Drive," — said one of the "victims".
"Missing icons in Gmail and I can't log in to my YouTube account," says another review.
Judging by the interactive map of the service, most of the complaints come from the US, Japan, Australia, Brazil and Mexico. To a lesser extent, the problem affected users from Ireland, Germany and Italy, and in Russia the failure affected mostly residents of Moscow.
