Aorus NVMe Gen4 are designed on the basis of the controller Bisc4 Nand Flash of the Japanese company Toshiba, due to which it was possible to achieve a 40 percent increase in performance compared to The PCIe 3.0 interface. The read/write speed of the drives is 5000 MB/s and 4400 MB/s respectively. Three models of M. 2 drives of module 2280 size are available: 500 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB. They do not require to connect an interface cable like SATA solutions, and only take up one connector.
The Aorus NVMe Gen4 has a copper radiator and Laird thermoelectric pads for efficient heat dissipation. Even at significant loads and operating at elevated temperatures, radiators remove heat and prevent a decrease in performance. Each M. 2 drive is thoroughly tested for stability under the influence of high temperatures and power surges as part of the disk subsystem of Gigabyte motherboards, and only then goes on sale.
