In search of "frame-lessness" smartphone makers have tried a variety of design options — from the retractable cameras to sliders. Known for high accuracy leaks Evan Blass claims that ASUS has chosen the last option to create your 5G-smartphone, but added the usual design of the original chip. The insider published high-quality renderings and photos of the mysterious device long before the expected presentation.
According to a source on his Twitter blog, one of the designers of the company, who worked on ASUS ZenFone 5, had a hand in the creation of the concept renders published by him. In contrast to the previously presented solutions of competitors, the design of the future novelty involves moving the display in two directions. When you move the screen down from the body extends the module dual selfie camera with a wide led flash. When shifted up, the user gets access to the grille of Harman Kardon's production dynamics.
On the back cover of the smartphone is visible dual main camera with horizontal sensors, a fingerprint scanner is missing and presumably built into the display. On the right side of the case, there are power and volume buttons, on the left — the tray for SIM-cards. The gadget is presented in black and white colors of the case.
The second modification of the smartphone is made in a similar form factor, but with some changes. The speaker is placed in the lower part of the strip of the auxiliary touch display, which displays the auxiliary controls. In the upper part, there is a double front with sensors spaced across the width, each of which is equipped with a dedicated flash.
On the back surface of the device, there is a double camera and a fingerprint scanner. Physical buttons, like the first model, are located on the right side of the device. In addition to rendering Blass also published a small photo shoot with prototypes of both models.
Name, technical characteristics and the date of the announcement of new products are not reported. It is possible that the 5G-device in one of the presented design options the company will show during the presentation of ASUS ZenFone 6, which will be held on May 16 in Spain.
