Modern laptops have become thinner and lighter devices of previous generations, but along with the size of the body they have decreased and the number of ports. In response to this trend, the VAIO brand introduced a laptop called SX12. It is spared from the main drawback of competitors.
The key feature of the new product is an impressive number of interface ports. In addition to the universal USB Type-C, the case accommodates three USB Type-A, HDMI, full-size slot for SD memory cards, separate 3.5 mm audio jacks for microphone and headphones, LAN-port and even analog VGA to connect to outdated equipment.
12.5-inch laptop is built on the basis of Quad-core Intel Core i5 or i7 eighth generation (in different configurations) and is available in a version with built-in LTE modem. The VAIO SX12 WEIGHS only 888 grams.
Depending on the configuration, the price of laptop varies from $1100 to $2000. The novelty has already gone on sale on the Japanese market, availability in other regions will be announced later.
