Samsung Galaxy S11 may present ahead of schedule
According to numerous leaks, the announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S11 will take place on February 18, but, according to new data, the South Korean vendor is preparing to announce the new product before this date. It is expected that this step will give users the opportunity to evaluate the new product before other manufacturers begin to demonstrate the new flagships.
According to rumors, the presentation of the Samsung Galaxy S11 will be held in San Francisco on February 11, two weeks before the opening of CES 2020. It is expected that simultaneously with the new product, the manufacturer will announce the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 in the "clamshell" form factor.
Samsung representatives did not comment on the insiders' statements about the date of the announcement of new products.
Microsoft Surface Duo will get a holographic display
Panos Panay, Vice President of the company, posted a Christmas greeting on his Twitter blog, in which users saw a hint of a new feature of the unannounced Microsoft Surface Duo smartphone with two screens.
Judging by the animation of the snowman appearing between the screens of the device, the new product will be able to show holographic images. As proof of their theory, commentators note that Panay is usually reserved when posting online and "does nothing without a reason."
The Walking Cat insider also mentioned one of Microsoft's patents describing the technology for "showing holograms floating above screens." Users will be able to find out whether there was a hidden meaning in the message of the top manager after the release of the device.
Energy efficiency realme X50 evaluated in practice
The flagship realme X50 has not yet been announced, but the brand's product Manager Wang Wei Derek has already published on the social network Weibo a screenshot of the upcoming smartphone with a brief comment "After one day of use".
Judging by the image, the battery charge is 62%. It is possible that such a high energy efficiency for modern smartphones is associated with the use of the new Snapdragon 765g mobile platform in the model. On the other hand, the representative of the brand did not say in what mode the device was operated. The expected battery capacity of the new product is 4500 mAh.
The realme X50 announcement will take place on January 7, 2020.
HUAWEI registers the novaBuds trademark
Following the first rumors about the withdrawal of the HUAWEI nova line into a separate brand, insiders found on the website of the European Patent Office a Chinese vendor's application for registration of the novaBuds trademark. According to available information, we are talking about wireless headphones.
According to published data, the accessory is intended for use with virtual and augmented reality systems, smartphones and other devices. The technical characteristics of the device are unknown - presumably, it will be a wireless model with a Bluetooth interface.
Possible date of announcement of new items and other details are not reported.
