Continuing to create devices designed in the style of the Palace Museum of Beijing, following the portable kettle with rapid heating on its own crowdfunding platform, Xiaomi announced a new model of smart watches. The new product received an OLED display, premium finishing materials, and IP68 case protection.
The product, made in a classic round steel case with a diameter of 42.8 mm, is equipped with a round 1.3-inch OLED display with a resolution of 360x360 pixels, occupying 73% of the front panel area. The watch case is made of steel, and the strap is embossed from genuine leather. The gadget is decorated with engraving that resonates with the style of one of the main attractions of China - the Forbidden City.
The model has a battery with a capacity of 400 mAh, 4 GB of internal and 512 MB of RAM. The watch can not be removed even when washing dishes or swimming - they are protected from water in accordance with IP68.
The device running Android WearOS is compatible with Android (5.1 and higher) and iOS (version 10 or later), supports notification display, is equipped with an NFC chip and a geolocation module that works with three satellite positioning systems at once. The device’s list of functions also included a heart rate monitor and the ability to control using a voice assistant.
