Lenovo introduced two low-cost tablets running Android. The Tab M7 and Tab M8 models are equipped with screens with thin frames and a diagonal of 7 and 8 inches, respectively. Among the features of new products - children's mode and affordable price.
The tablets are running the Android 9 Pie operating system and come with Lenovo Smart Kid's special mode, with which adults can create a separate account for their child, limiting the use of the device and access to content. On the news, the Netflix online cinema application is also preinstalled.
Lenovo Tab M7 is equipped with a 7-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1024x600 pixels and a four-core MediaTek processor. The built-in 3500 mAh battery, according to the manufacturer, is enough for 10 hours of battery life.
The tablet is available in several versions. So, the modification with 1 GB of RAM and an 8 GB drive works on the Android Go operating system, while versions with 2 + 16 GB and 2 + 32 GB come with regular Android.
Lenovo Tab M8 received an 8-inch display with a resolution of HD or Full HD. The amount of RAM is 2 or 3 GB, and the drive is 16 or 32 GB. The built-in battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh, as the manufacturer claims, is enough for 18 hours of operation without recharging.
The tablets will go on sale in October this year. The price of the 7-inch Tab M7 starts at $ 89, while the 8-inch Tab M8 can be purchased from $ 109. The full HD version of the Tab M8 will cost $ 159.
