With the release of the Snapdragon 865 and Snapdragon 765 processors, Qualcomm announced its intention to start releasing graphics drivers through app stores to separate them from firmware and offer them as needed, as implemented on PCs. Xiaomi was the first to take advantage of the new feature, providing users of its devices with updates for the GPU.

The Chinese version of the Xiaomi app store has a GPU Driver Updater program. The application with the package name com.xiaomi.ugd is intended for updating GPU drivers for Qualcomm mobile platforms. The first such update was received by owners of smartphones Xiaomi Mi 10, Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, and Redmi K30 Pro, built on the basis of Snapdragon 865. The patch includes optimizations for several games, including PUBG Mobile, Fortnite, and Honkai Impact 3rd, as well as fixes for OpenGL ES and Vulkan.

After examining the GPU Driver Updater application, XDA developers figured out the distribution scheme for graphics drivers. The documentation says that the OEM gets an empty preliminary release of the APK file from Qualcomm. After that, it makes a number of changes to it based on its own firmware, adds new supported games, and changes the package name. Then each OEM manufacturer must deliver the update to its users.

For users who do not want or are not able to install stationary air conditioners, Xiaomi has introduced a mobile solution. Its key features are small size, no need for complex installation, and support for connecting to the MIJIA smart home system.
The gadget was developed by New Widetech. In size, the model is almost identical to the previously presented Xiaomi series of air purifiers Mi Air Purifier. On the front face of the device, there are two air ducts through which the cooled air enters.
According to the manufacturer, the air conditioner is designed for a room with an area of 11 to 17 square meters. At the same time, the new product does not require stationary installation and can easily move between rooms like a normal household gadget. The device has several modes, including cooling and dehydration, which will be particularly relevant in the rainy season and can be used to reduce air humidity.

On the top cover of the air conditioner is a touch-screen monochrome display with the ability to fine-tune. For convenience, the developers have equipped the model with remote control. And since the gadget uses Wi-Fi, it can be connected to the MIJIA smart home system.
The cost of the new product is $226.

Xiaomi has introduced a new model of wireless vacuum cleaner called Roidmi X30 Pro on the Indiegogo crowdfunding platform. The new product is notable for the increased engine power compared to its predecessor, the presence of an OLED information display, as well as a decent work time without recharging.

The small display of the device displays information about the battery level and the selected operating mode. Among the features of the vacuum cleaner, it is worth noting an engine with a speed of 120,000 rpm. Especially for cleaning various coatings, Xiaomi engineers have developed a V-shaped rotating brush head.
In addition to the dry cleaning mode, Roidmi X30 Pro can also be used as a mop - the model has a special container with an automatic dosage of detergent.

The Roidmi X30 Pro kit includes a wide range of nozzles for general cleaning, point suction, with a flexible hose, as well as for collecting animal hair. According to the manufacturer, the maximum autonomy of the device is up to 70 minutes. Mounting to the charging station is carried out using a magnetic unit. The weight of the cordless vacuum cleaner is 1.5 kilograms.

The price of the new product under the terms of pre-order on the crowdfunding platform Indiegogo is $499 with a planned retail price of $599. The device comes with 10 replaceable filters. The start of deliveries of the new product to customers will begin in May 2020.

In addition to  Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro, Xiaomi introduced the Lite version of last year's Mi Note 10 during an online presentation. To reduce the price, the manufacturer simplified the characteristics of the device, and at the same time slightly updated the case design and reduced the cost of the model.

From the usual Mi Note 10, the new product has similar dimensions, a curved 6.47-inch AMOLED display with a built-in fingerprint scanner and a teardrop cutout, a Snapdragon 730g processor, a 5260 mAh battery and an NFC module.
The key differences between the models lie in the cameras. Unlike the Mi Note 10, which has a 108-megapixel camera, the Lite version has a 64-megapixel sensor. The other modules are also different: instead of two telephoto cameras with optical zoom, a single depth sensor is used, and the “width” resolution is reduced from 20 megapixels to 8 megapixels.

Specifications of Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite:
      Display: AMOLED, 6.47 ", Full HD +, HDR10, Gorilla Glass 5 Processor: Snapdragon 730G, Adreno 618 Graphics RAM: 6/8 GB Built-in memory: 64/128 GB Main camera: 64 megapixels (Sony IMX686) + 8 megapixels (viewing angle 120 °) + 2 megapixels (macro lens) + 2 megapixels (depth sensor) Front camera: 16 megapixels Battery: 5260 mAh, 30 W fast charge Security: sub-screen fingerprint scanner Communication: Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz) 2 x 2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5, GPS, NFC, Infrared Connectors: USB Type-C, 3.5mm Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite will go on sale in mid-May at a price of € 349 and € 399 for versions of 6 + 64 GB and 6 + 128 GB, respectively.
