Following the new smartphone, Xiaomi introduced the smart watch Mi Watch based on the Wear OS operating system. In addition to the basic functions of its “colleagues”, the gadget is notable for its long battery life, advanced multimedia capabilities and the presence of an NFC chip for making payments. The gadget received a 1.78-inch diagonal AMOLED-display with a density of 326 PPI, protected from scratches by sapphire crystal. The watch case is made of aluminum alloy, on the side face is a controller in the shape of a crown for navigation on the device’s interface. There is also a microphone hole and a rectangular multi-function button. On the left side are a speaker and a second microphone. The contacts for the charger and the heart rate sensor are integrated into the back cover of the gadget. The “core” of the Xiaomi Mi Watch is the Snapdragon 3100 4G mobile platform with a four-core processor (1.2 GHz ARM Cortex A-7 cores) and an Adreno 304 graphics accelerator. The autonomy of the 570 mAh battery is responsible for the autonomy of the new product. According to the manufacturer, the smartwatch will last up to 36 hours on a single charge, and in standby mode - up to two days. The built-in NFC chip supports Alipay payment service in China. The list of wireless interfaces also includes Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11n and GPS. Fitness features include heart rate monitoring, a blood oxygen sensor, activity trackers, and sleep quality. Like the previously introduced smart band Mi Band 4, the model is compatible with Android and iOS. Firmware MIUI for Watch allows the gadget to remotely control air purifiers, smart lamps and other devices of the Internet of things. In addition, the model supports working with the XiaoAI voice assistant, and can also store and play music regardless of the smartphone - users can leave the main gadget at home, going for a run or to the gym. Wear OS has a built-in app store. Mi Watch will use the “virtual” eSIM SIM card, which allows you to make and receive calls and go online. The model is capable of playing TV shows through compatible applications. The watch is equipped with a rubber hypoallergenic bracelet, which can be quickly changed thanks to a special mechanism. The price of the Xiaomi Mi Watch at the start of sales in China is $ 185. Reception of pre-orders for the new product started today, retail smart watches will arrive on November 11. An exclusive version of the Xiaomi Watch Privilege Edition in a polished stainless steel case with a steel bracelet and ceramic back cover will appear in December and will cost customers $ 285.
