Updating the hardware component of the chipset significantly accelerated the loading of games on mobile devices. Increased performance in these applications is made possible by distributing the workload between the GPU, the Hexagon auxiliary processor, and the image processing unit (ISP).

Qualcomm's hardware and software package includes support for the Vulkan 1.1 graphics library, which provides applications with the ability to directly control GPU operations without "crutches" in the form of third-party drivers.
