But then came the sequel, and it is time to check the authors were able to improve or stepped on the same rake?
Any triumph in the market inevitably leads to a wave of imitators. Today, everyone wants to make the perfect "Royal battle", and five years ago tried to Eclipse Destiny. Seeing the success of the shooter Bungie, Ubisoft released The Division. That's just a little faked, writing off someone else's homework — the fighter came out raw and poor on the content, so gamers quickly bored on the streets of infected New York. Against this background, the announcement of the sequel met with caution: who needs it, if the first part was controversial? But the release took place, and we can say that came out really decent job on the bugs.

It's been seven months since the first outbreak of the dollar flu. The contagion, which began in New York, penetrated into other megacities, reaching the capital of the States. The head of state and his Ministers were lucky: they managed to evacuate. The rest of the citizens were left to fend for themselves. Washington is in chaos, and the Unit and the local militia barely have the strength to protect the few survivors. So we have to ask for help from friends in other cities. Well, we will provide it.
The move clearly went to the sequel to the benefit: instead of crammed skyscrapers — cozy Washington with white marble and low buildings. Green with vegetation and clogged with garbage blocks seem lifeless, but the first impression is deceptive. In the waste tanks rustling raccoons, deer scurrying between the trees, and then barking stray dogs…
And the people, judging by the sound of gunfire, wafting echoes from the streets, have not gone away. Someone is just trying to survive: the Americans form settlements, engaged in farming and try to keep some crumbs of order in the chaos. Marginals unite in gangs and, like wild beasts, terrorize the weak, setting their own rules. Some like lawlessness in the spirit of "Mad Max", others play a military dictatorship, others take revenge for past humiliations and insults... Our purpose as the agent of Division, — to protect civilians from marauders, and at the same time to execute orders of the administration.

And here the two gangs staged at the intersection of the shootout, in which the gamer is also free to get involved. The weather also contributes: for example, from time to time a sandstorm rises. It spoils visibility and even ordinary fight can very diversify. And dawn or sunset give what is happening cinematic pathos.
Into the darkness
After the end of the campaign, there is also enough entertainment. First, Washington is captured by another faction — the "Black tusks". Fighting it is very different from the already passed missions and feels new — and not as a repetition of the lesson learned.
Tired of fighting computer opponents? You can go into the Dark Zone — there are now three. They are located in different parts of the city. Here, as before, give out the most interesting loot, in the fight for which it is not a sin to mess with your neighbor. Now, however, lovers of the principle of "did muck — joy to the heart" expect a very pleasant surprise.
Theft, cutting ropes, and other hooliganism will not attract attention to the gamer. However, it is necessary to get carried away with planting knives in the back, as a malicious traitor will be hunted. His location will be known to all agents on the map. It would seem a trifle, but a great help in maintaining the correct balance of the game. The mode of "Conflict" is also still there — this time, however, put three specially made for his locations.
Perhaps The Division 2 will not produce such a sensation as its predecessor. But it is in all respects superior to the original: it is a competent and very nice shooter. I want to come back here. Moreover, the authors actively support it. Massive Entertainment has done a great job — made a game for which there is no shame.
The Division 2 provides all that gamers have been waiting for from the first part. Here is an interesting story campaign, a breakout of content, a seamless open world full of entertainment. Looking for a session game that will not get bored after a week or two? Washington will not disappoint.
In the sequel, there are bugs, mainly relating to the time of the skills, and some abilities are not too effective. Departures also happen, although not often.
